In order to water the plants without any problem, you should leave some two inches between the soil level and the margin of the container. As for the gardening cycles, most people will stick to the same routine as with outdoor gardening. The only difference here is that you can grow your plants directly from seeds because there are not weather changes to prevent plant growth.
